Medusalith Amaquelin Boltagon

Medusa was the first-born daughter of the Inhuman nutritionalists Quelin and Amber. As a child she was exposed the Terrigen Mists, like all Inhuman children, and gained the ability to psychically manipulate her now ultra-strong hair. She grew up as part of the Royal Family and spent a great deal of time with her second cousin, Black Bolt. She learned how to communicate with the mute prince and began to serve as his interpreter as he grew into royal position as King of Attilan. This constant companionship turned into love and they married.

Black Bolt's brother, Maximus, attempted to usurp control and had the Royal Family exiled. Medusa was separated from the others in an air crash and suffered from amnesia. In a clouded state-of-mind, she hiked throughout Europe, stealing money and food to survive. She was eventually apprehended in Paris, but the Wizard distracted her pursuers long enough for her to escape. The Wizard recruited Medusa for his team of super villains, the Frightful Four.

The remaining members of the Royal Family found Medusa during a battle the Frighful Four launched against the Fantastic Four. She returned to Attilan with her family and helped Black Bolt regain his crown, causing Maximus to go insane. The Inhumans (especially the Royal Family) have since been friends of the Fantastic Four and Medusa was asked to take Susan Richards' place while she and her husband, Mr. Fantastic, were separated. Having a low tolerance for air polution, she was unable to stay with the team long. In fact, the entire city of Attilan was eventually moved from the Himilayas to the Earth's moon to save the entire race.

Since that time, she has remained with Black Bolt constantly and bore them a son, Ahura, against the wishes of the Inhumans' Genetics Council. This sent the Royal Family into exile once again, although they have since returned to Attilan only to renounce the notion of kings and queens. They had to endure a pseudo-exile on the now-risen Atlantis when they tried to regain their ancestors' land, and seemed to have restablished their culture's previous government under Black Bolt's rule. Recent revelations about their ancestry, however, provoked the Inhumans to take refuge in outer space, leaving the Royal Family behind on the Blue Area of Earth's moon.
