She-Hulk patch
  • A 3.5 inch diamaeter cloth patch featuring a She-Hulk era FF was produced. Also available was the "4" logo and a patch featuring only the She-Hulk.
  • The Fantastic Four Files was printed by Comics File Magazine. It has background data on some of the FF's prominent characters and interviews with several past writers and artists of the book.
  • TSR introduced the Marvel Super Heroes Advanced Set. It followed the same format as the 1984 game, but added some more complex rules for more in-depth game playing. Written by Jeff Grubb with new artwork by Jeff Butler.
  • The Marvel Super Heroes Secret Wars II campaign adventure mimiced the plot of that series. It was written by Jeff Grubb. Artwork was pulled from the comic series.
  • TSR introduced a new line of books that were a cross between role playing games and a choose-your-own-adventure story called 1-On-1. "The Doomsday Device" by James M. Ward pit the Fantastic Four against Dr. Doom. Original cover art by Jeff Butler and mostly new interior art by Jumpstart Studios.
