1986
- A 3.5 inch diamaeter cloth patch featuring a
She-Hulk era
FF was produced.
Also available was the "4" logo and a patch featuring only the
She-Hulk.
- The Fantastic Four Files
was printed by Comics File Magazine.
It has background data on some of the FF's prominent characters and interviews with several
past writers and artists of the book.
- TSR
introduced the Marvel Super Heroes Advanced Set. It followed the same format as
the 1984 game,
but added some more complex rules for more in-depth game playing. Written by Jeff Grubb with new
artwork by Jeff Butler.
- The Marvel Super Heroes Secret Wars II campaign adventure mimiced the plot of that
series. It was written by Jeff Grubb. Artwork was pulled from the comic series.
- TSR
introduced a new line of books that were a cross between role playing games and a
choose-your-own-adventure story called 1-On-1.
"The
Doomsday Device" by James M. Ward pit the Fantastic Four against Dr. Doom.
