Memorabilia:
1988
- The Gamer's Handbooks of the Marvel Universe was produced as one of the
TSR game accessories.
It consisted of four volumes that detailed statistics for nearly every major and minor
Marvel hero
and villain at that time. They were all punched along the spine, so that they could all be placed
in one binder for the more serious players.
- Comic Images released a 90 card set of Marvel "Heroic Origins" in October. FF cards were:
- #16 - Crystal
- #29 - Fantastic Four
- #36 - Human Torch
- #38 - Invisible Girl
- #49 - Mr. Fantastic
- #68 - She-Hulk
- #75 - Tattletale
- #76 - Thing
Planet Studios began producing small hat pins featuring artwork from various
Marvel
comics. Their first run only consisted of around six pins, which were sold through
advertisments within various comic books, but they quickly added dozens of designs.
Many featured artwork of the Fantastic Four such as the logo and various head shots and action poses.
Marvel produced
Marvel
Masterworks Volume 6, which reprinted issues #11 - 20. Sold only with hardcover and dust jacket.
Introduction by Stan Lee.
A 300 piece puzzle featuring nearly every
Marvel
superhero (including the Fantastic Four).
I am unaware of a manufacturer, but I would guess it is by Milton-Bradley.
