  • Merrigold Press re-released a Hulk and two FF coloring book stories in one .75" thick book. The book reprints "The Fantastic Four Meet The Witch" (originally released in 1977 under Whitman Publishers) and "The Fantastic Four featuring Herbie the Robot" (originally released in 1979 also under Whitman).
  • Impel (later Skybox) released their first Marvel Universe trading cards. FF cards were:

    • #12 - Power Man by Mark Bagley
    • #19 - Mr. Fantastic by Tom Morgan
    • #33 - Human Torch by Tom Morgan
    • #39 - She-Hulk by Tom Morgan
    • #43 - Invisible Woman by Ron Frenz
    • #87 - Thing vs. Hulk by Tom Morgan
    • #88 - Fantastic Four vs. Galactus by Ron Frenz
    • #89 - Fantastic Four vs. Dr. Doom by Tom Morgan
    • #101 - Fantastic Four vs. X-Men by Mark Bagley

    • #137 - Fantastic Four by Tom Morgan
  • The Thing and Mr. Fantastic were introduced into Marvel's line of PVC figurines. I believe these were produced by Comic Images. Both were poorly sculpted and their uniform colors were cyan and white (instead of cyan and black or blue-black and white).
